Bad Bad Day!

Well today just sucked! Today we were suppose to go to the Highland games so we get all ready to go & when we get there the feild was empty! So we were like what the heck?! I called my dad to have him look up on the internet where it was going to be & we found out that is was going to be way out in pheonix. You would have to park a mile & a half away then take a shuttle to it. So we made the tough decission not to go. It would have been to much of a hassle to go. So we were very very upset about that. We had both been looking foward to this all year. Stupid people moving it! :(

My poor boy!!

To top that off John is now sick. He felt like he was running a fever, but when I took his temp in his armpit it said it was only 98.1. I knew that was not right cause this kid was burning up. So I had to stick it in his bum & it shot up to 102.1. I took it again a couple of hours later and it had shot up to 103.1, & that was after tylenol. So Brek took off work so that he could stay and watch Mark while I took John to the ER. When we got to the ER they took his temp & it had shot up to 104.3! They checked him out and said his lungs sounded clear, & when they checked his ear they said that his left ear was infected. So his ear & cough was causing the high temp. They prescribed antibiotics & tylenol. I hate it when my babied are sick. It feels like they are taking turns being sick I swear.

Hair Cut & Tags

So today I decided that it was time to cut my hair. It has seriously been two years since I have cut my hair. I had alot of split ends. I was so nervous cause I really really like my hair but I knew it needed to be cut. There was so much dead to it. I think it looks so good now. I am still trying to get use to it. She cut 6 inches off of it! Brek thought is was short but he siad my hair looks so much better now. It has body and looks healthy. But I am going to give myself a full body makeover. I am starting to get in shape. I have started a diet and I am eating alot better that what I had been. I have been working out. Not everyday but I am trying to do better on that. My goal is to have a bikkini worthy body by summer. So my goal is to lose at least 20-25 lbs. I am also whitting my teeth as I am typing this. I have been wanting to do that for a while. And while we were at Wal-Mart they had a pack of all the products you need on sale. I was excited. So how many of you out there also but lose weight as one of your resolutions' for the new year?
Also the Highland games are tommorrow!!! Yay I am so excited. It is going to be so fun. So who is going to be there?

A day at the Park.

Today Me and the boys went to meet my sister Jessica, Skye & Jessica's friend Mac at the park. The kids had a blast. Mark loved going down the slide & the big boy swing. Skye liked to climb the stairs to the slide but not go down the slide. John had fun sitting in his stroller watching everyone. Mark also loved stitting on the little duck rocker. He was so cute today. He was all over the place. After that we all went out to eat at Taco bell. Mark didn't really eat anything buty his chair had the biggest mess around it. I have no clue how that happened.
On our way back home I saw Mark's carpet cleaning truck parked outside a apartment complex so I stopped in to see how he was doing. It was fuuny. I mean what are the odds of me being in that area the same time he was.
Well it is official. John is big boy. He can army crawl to get to where he wants and he is eating grahm crackers by himself. I still hacve to help him sometimes when he takes to big of a bite. It is so scary! He is growing so fast!

Boys'

Isn't He so cute! I put him in his swing cause I needed to get some stuff done around the house. I look over to check on him and he fell asleep like this! I didn't think that he was going to fall asleep cause he usually doesn't fall asleep in his swing. But he did and it was nice. He didn't sleep to long but it was okay. I couldn't just let him sleep like that, but I needed a picture of it first. So I took this cute photo then laid him back in the swing.


So I was sitting there in the kitchen & I look over to check on Mark and this is where I found him. He was sitting in the walker watching his morning tv shows. I thougt he looked like a fricken goofball. I tried to take him out and he got all mad and started yelling at me! So I left him in there until he decided that he wanted to come out. Which was not for like another 15 minutes. Sorry the picture is sideways I turned it but this is how it keep turning out.

So over the past month Brek has been feeling pretty crappy on & off. One week he will feel completly fine and then the next week he feels like crap. So he was tired of being sick & gave in to go to the doctor. And for those who know Brek know that going to the doctor is a big deal. Cause "real men" don't need doctors. Well actually he said nobody really needs a doctor. And from what I heard alot of the George men think the same way. They could break a some ribs or something to that nature and they still wouldn't go in. But anyways she said that it was probably mostly allergies with a cold. So he was given Nasal spray & Antibiotic. He had to take off work cause he felt so bad.

*Update on Kitties* Our kitties have seem to gotten use to living here. They are very lovey on us. Which I love! Cause the last kitty we had didn't like to be touched or cuddled with. But I have had both of them at different times come up when I am feeding John & start to purr and love on me and take a nap. Mark has really gotten use to them. They will come up and rub up on him. Mark loves it! He will start to laugh and try & move away. But he really has really learned to be "soft" these last to days. I will watch him and he will pet the cat all soft and nice. It is so cute, but then he will try to sit on them and ride them like a dog. John also seems to like them. Whenever he see's them walk past he stops what he is doing to watch and smile at them.

To all those who are wanting to go the Highland Games are this weekend!! Yay! I am so excited for them. I have been waiting all year for them and they are finally here! Oh it is going to be awsome!!

Bathtime & New Kitties

I just had to put these pictures of Mark & John up. I thought they were so cute. The other night I gave them both their baths before bedtime. I feel that baths make it easier for them to relax and fall asleep faster. Mark loves taking baths. He gets all excited when he hears me start up the tub and tries to climb in before I take his clothes off. John isn't sure yet. I put him in the water and he started to cry, then he just stopped and looked down at the water like "oh this isn't bad". After that he had fun slashing in the water. He gets kinda hard to bath cause he can't quite sit up by himself so I am bathing him with one hand. Brek has to help me rinse off his hair. I can't wait till John is big enough for me to put him in the tub with Mark so I don't have to give bath's at 2 seperate times. That is going to be fun!



Meet our new kitties!! Me and Brek Yesterday decieded that we wanted to get a kitty. So we went down to the pound to look at some. We started looking ata real pretty gray one and this lady came up to us and told us that she was looking at that kitty but there was a lady out in the parking lot that had 2 kitties and they were free. So we went out there to look at them and we were going to get only one but we founf out they were sisters and she wanted to keep them together. So on a whim I said lets get both. So we had to hurry up and take them because there was a lady that wanted one. So we took off with our new kitties. They have seemed to started to get use to their new home. They are about 5 months old. They have all their shots but rabies. Next month we are going to go and get them spayed. Cause we don't want no babies. But the gray one is named Yuna. And the brown one is named Rikku. I think they are so cute! If you are having trouble with seeing the color of them, Rikku is the top picture , & Yuna is the bottom one.

Who says food can't buy you love? Well food can definatly buy this girl's love! :) Isn't that pizza so cute though! Brek came home from his interview & suprised me with it! He got the nice boys' at Domino's to make it. He said they alomost didn't do it cause you can't make a pizza look like that. He finally got them to do it by giving them a pep talk! :) It brung the biggest smile to my face. I love that man! He is so sweet! For the past 2 Valentines I have started a tradition of making Brek a homemade card so I thought why stop now. So after I fed John I made Brek a card with crayon's and lined paper. (I don't have anything on hand to make a nice spify card). I thought it turned out pretty cute myself. I was going to post a picture put I couldn't get a good one to come out. :(

I have a terrible addiction problem. I absolutly love whipped cream! I can make myself so sick off of it! I will tell myself just one squirt but that never happens. I always do more than one squirt. I was doing so good on my diet and then on a whim I bought this when I was a the grocery store with nobody to tell me not to buy it! Dang it!! Why does that stuff have to be so dang good?! That is my major weakness when it comes to sweets.

Meet Garfield. This cat adopted our back patio a couple of weeks ago. It will sleep there when it is tired during the day. I started to feel bad cause I had no idea if it had a source of food so I gave it a can of tuna & a small bowl of water. I feel so bad for it I want to let it in but I don't know if it is clean or not. I also know that it is a boy cause I have seen his "package" & I don't want him to spray in our apartment. Also Mark is kinda scared of it. He will watch that cat and the minute it comes to the window he starts to get scared. It is so funny! So does anyone want to adopt this poor kitty? Free to a good home! :)

Happy Valentines Day!

I hope that everyone is having the best Valentines ever! From what I read on peoples blogs so far it seems like you are! And for that I am happy! Me and my hunny are going to have a nice quiet specail dinner! I am so excited. He is also going in for an interview to get a different job at Quik Trip. He would be making more money, & he would not be working nights anymore! Yeah for that! So everyone if you could cross your fingers that this interview goes well and he gets the job!!

Secret Blogger

I have a confession to make. I have not been the one who has been writting my bolgs'. It was Mark. I caught him in the act today! LOL! Just kidding. I found him like this today and it cracked me up. He was moving his little fingers all over the key board and was talking to himself. He was so serious. I couldn't stop smiling. I asked him what he was doing and he started talking in his own little language explaning to me exactly what he as doing. It wasn nice tonight me & Brek got to have a date night. We went out to eat at Chili's and because his friend was working there we got half off. After that we did a little shopping at Wal-Mart without the kids. That is always nice. Not having kids when you are shopping. It makes things so much easier. We decided to do all this because we knew that it would be to hard to find a babysitter on Valentines day so we decided to celebraate a day early. Well I need to put John to bed. *Night*

New shoes

Yesterday me & my friend Megan had a shopping outting. We went to look at furnitutre for her apartment when she moves out. After that we both needed to get groceries, so we went across the street to Wal-Mart. I needed to pick up a new acordian folder to help me get organized again. While I was there I decided that I should pick up Mark a new pair of shoes. He fits his other ones just fine but they can fall off real easy, and if we are going to the zoo I don't want to lose his shoes. But I absolutly love his new shoes. He looks so cute in them! Yesterday my friend Sascha suprised & asked me to be her maid of honor. I was so hoping she would ask me! :) Today me and Brek are going to go apartment hunting with Joe & Megan. After we are all done we are going to go out to lunch. I still can't believe that tomorrow is going to be Valentine's day. I still have no idea what I am going to be doing for Brek. I don't think we are going to be doing anything big cause our anniversery is basically like a week later. Also the Highland Games are this month!! To those of you who have never heard of it, it's a Scottish Festival that is held at MCC. I also put a picture of Mark crawling into John's walker. That little boy gets so jealous when he see's his little brother in his old walker. After a while he finally gets use to him being in there and he is real sweet to him. But the minute I take John out Mark is all over the walker!

I just want to thank everyone again who took the time to come over and read my blog. Sorry I did not post the pictures yesterday I was so tired. I think I am coming down with something. I am not achy feeling but I can't breathe out my nose my throat is scratchy & because my nose is stuffy I can't taste any food. Which bugs me more than anything cause I love food. I was very disappointed last night when I went to eat my spaghetti and I couldn't taste any of it. Well on the up side Mark seems to be feeling a little better he woke up in a pretty good mood and so far he isn't running a fever. But we will see how long that last cause he didn't have one yesterday morning but in the afternoon he did. I am also putting up some pictures of Mark & John playing on our bed after I cleaned our room. Also big news, John at 6 months is basically already crawling. He hasn't got the motions down but if he see's something in front of him, he will do his little army type crawl and get it. He is getting big to fast! Mark didn't start crawling until like 8 months. I am so suprised that John is already starting. Well I have to go and clean my apartment and do my laundry. I hate doing laundry. It always sits in a pile for weeks till I kick my butt and fold them.

Today was a fun day, Jolene came over to help put up the pictures' she gave us for Christmas. Now our apartment looks like we live here. Thank you Jolene!! Also since Brek was still awake we decided to go out to eat at Cafe Rio. Mark woke uo today and he seemed to be feeling better so that was exciting. but as the day went on he grew more & more fussy. I took his temp and it was back up again, this time to 100.3 degrees. So I gave him some Tylenol and put him to bed. I went in to check on him and he was standing there with puke everywhere. I felt so bad because you could tell that he had puked after he fell asleep cause it was in his hair & all over his pillow. So in the bath he went. Baths always seem to make him feel better. Well I have to go. Mark is starting to get real fussy. But I will post pictures of the new improved apartment.

Sick boy

Mark woke up today with a fever of 102.1 degrees. You could tell just by looking at him that he felt miserable. So we gave him some Tylenol and then put him in the bath to see if I could get his core temprature down at all. It seemed to help a little. Soon after that he decided tha he wanted to lay down in his bed so I put him in his crib gave him a bottle a woobie. He ended up taking a like a 3 hour nap. Right now he is watching Disney Channel, but you can tell he still feels like crap just by looking at him. My poor baby.

New Computer

Today me and Brek decided that we needed to use some of our tax money to help us get a new computer because our old one sucked really bad. It would cut out in the middle of whatever you were doing sometimes. You wouldn't know when it was going to cut out until it did. It also liked to freeze alot. So it was really hard to be able to do much on it. We didn't pay that much for it so I guess we got what we paid for. Brek also picked up a hand gun from the Bass Pro shop. He has wanted one for along time. And since we had the money for it I didn't see why not. This is all stuff we have been wanting to get and we always said we would get them when we got the money. We were also going to go down to Levitz furniture store today cause they were having a big sale on area rugs and we wanted to get one, but weren't able to cause poor Mark started running a 100.6 degree fever. So I gave the poor little guy some Tylenol and bath & sent him to bed early cause he was so tired. I hate it when my babies are sick. I just feel so bad cause they aren't able to tell you exactly what is wrong or where it hurts. So really all you can to is just kinda guess. Well I have to go clean my apartment, it needs a good cleaning. *Night*

We just found out that we got our tax refund! Yeah! It is so nice to have a little extra money in the bank. It is very comforting, and now *poof* bills be gone! :)

My little Princess

Yesterday when I posted my blog I realized that I forgot to mention some important pepole in my life. First is my older sister Jessica and my younger brother Jacob, We have had our fights but we always love each other in the end. Then there is the most important little girl in my life, my Princess Skye. She is my niece and she is the cutest little girl you have ever seen! Since I don't get a little girl because of the George curse I consider her like a daughter. For those of you who don't know what the George curse is I will now explain it to you know. George's don't produce girls. Brek has 4 brothers, his dad has 6 brothers and 1 sister who is the youngest. Now there are some Georges who had girls but it is rare. So unless I am willing to have like 4 more boys' to see if I will even have a daughter. And I am not wanting that many children. My two boys' are enough of a hand full already.

First Time

My name is Brittany George & this is my first blog ever. My mother-in-law Jolene has had one for quite some time now. I bet that many of you have read her Blog she is quite popular on here. Well a little about me. I am the middle child to some of the greatest parents whose names are John & Alison Allen. I am also married the GREATEST guy in the whole entire world & his name Brek Adam George. He is the oldest son of Mark and Jolene George. We have two aboslutly gorgeous baby boys. Our oldest son is named Mark and he is going on 17 months already. I don't know where the time went with him. And then our youngest son is named John, and he is almost 6 months. I feel like just last week I was in the hospital having him. Brek works as a night manager at Quik Trip. It has been hard with him being on nights for so long, but he has an interview to get a different position with-in Quik Trip and he would be off of nights so we are so hoping that he get's that job. I am a full time stay at home mom & I couldn't be happier. I love being able to be with my boys' all day long. In a couple of months I am going to start watchin my good friend Megans son twice a week. I am real excited about that cause I don't get to see the little guy enough & now I will be able to see him all the time. Well I am going to have to stop typing sooner or later so I will update this more tomorrow.
